The Generational Curses that Afflicted the Ancient Israelites

In the Bible “generational curses” are mentioned in several places (Exodus 20:5; 34:7; Numbers 14:18;Deuteronomy 5:9). Yahweh warns that He is “a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.”

As unfair as it sounds, for Yahweh to punish children for the sins of their fathers is more involved than it appears. The effects of sin are organically passed down from one generation to the next. When a father has a sinful lifestyle, his children, in theory, are likely to practice the same sinful lifestyle. This is implied in the warning of Exodus 20:5 is the fact that the children will choose to repeat the sins of their fathers. A Jewish Targum specifies that this passage of scripture refers to “ungodly fathers” and “rebellious children.” Therefore, it is not unjust for Yahweh to punish sin to the third or fourth generation – those generations are committing the same sins their ancestors did.

Yahweh’s warning to visit iniquity on future generations is part of the Old Testament Law. The generational curse was a consequence for Israel specifically for the specific sin of idolatry. The history books of the Old Testament, especially Deuteronomy and Judges, contain the record of this divine punishment meted out. What is a generation in the Bible? 40, 70, and sometimes 100 years.
Let's take slavery and Jim Crow as examples. President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, as the nation approached year three of the Civil War. The proclamation declared "that all persons held as slaves" within the rebellious states "are, and henceforward shall be free." However, discrimination continued, Jim Crow being the most notable. The Civil Rights Act of 1964, enacted on July 2, outlawed discrimination the United States based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. 1863 to 1964 is almost exactly 100 years, depending on the inception of either or both events it may very well have been 100 years.

Know this, the cure for a generational curse is and has always been repentance. When the remnant of Israel turned from idols to serve the living Yahweh, the “curse” was broken and Yahweh saved them (Judges 3:9, 15; 1 Samuel 12:10-11). Yahweh promised to visit Israel’s sin upon the third and fourth generations, but in the very next verse, He promised that He would show “love to a thousand [generations] of those who love me and keep my commandments” (Exodus 20:6). So Yahweh’s grace lasts a thousand times longer than His wrath. Does Israel continue to suffer? Outside of  Yahweh's saving Grace through Yeshua the Messiah they do. A note to white people, especially white Christians who have a lengthy heritage in America, if I were you I would pray to Yeshua, just like the Israelites, to be spared the judgment brought about by my ancestors. Remember, Yah said He would judge the nation who enslaved the Israelites. It's only been fifty two years since Jim Crow laws ended. So when we look for the answer as to why bad things happen to good, innocent white people, this may be it. 

Who is Hebrew?

I read a comment from a woman who was “against” the Hebrew Israelites because she had been a member of one of the organizations with the same namesake. She said she “used to be a Hebrew Israelite” but she was no longer because she left the organization where she was a member. I cannot stress this enough. Being a Hebrew Israelite is NOT a religion; it is a heritage and an ancestry. There is nothing you need to join nor is it something you can “become.” You either are or you aren't.
Some groups have used this ancestry to falsely manufacture their own set of ideals and beliefs.
Please be wary of these “preachers.” What I am offering to you is based on the studies of Biblical and historical scholars. The Bible is the original source but this information extends into historical studies as well.

"Hebrew" and "Jewish" are not interchangeable terms. Many Hebrews, like Paul, were once Jewish during the Biblical days it was a religion and a culture. Because of this, modern day Hebrews (like myself) can say we are of Jewish ancestry. However, after the Messiah was born, we should all have become followers of Yeshua the Messiah; this means (non-denominational) Christian for most of us. You can become Jewish as did the Ashkenazi Jews of the Biblical days because it is a religion. But again, the “Judaism” of  the Ashkenazi Jews is not the same as the Old Testament Jews. And not all Hebrews were Jewish, some were pagan like the tribe of Dan. It has been said that only the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and  a “good portion” of Levi were Jewish and were also the only ones present during the exodus to Egypt. Therefore, these are the only tribes who are among the "Chosen."
But every tribe is Hebrew Israelite.

Many have wondered where the other tribes went and who they might be today. Although the Bible does not specifically name the modern nations representing all of these people, there is biblical, historical and archaeological evidence that make it possible for us to positively identify their whereabouts of some of them. The United States, Britain and Western Europe and the islands they owned are the nations where descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel largely reside today. Again, please know that while this historical knowledge is not critical for anyone's salvation, it does help one understand end-time prophecy. And confirm the Bible prophecies of Deuteronomy 28 (for those who are not believers). I have mentioned the African tribes and as I stated, Hebrews frequently ventured into and relocated to Africa as evidenced by the above tribes. There were also Hebrews who elected not to go with Moses and the other Israelites  and remained in Africa and were eventually pushed southward by Assyrian invaders (the ancestors of most of the modern-day inhabitants of Egypt).

Again, those tribes did not heed to the prophecy of the Messiah's warning of the coming destruction in Israel and were not spared. Most died in the city through starvation; were killed by the Romans; sold to Egypt, or taken to Rome for various Roman ‘sporting activities’ after their conquest.
So if we use the facts of the slave trade, we can decipher who is included in the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi because again we know that these were the only tribes present at the exodus into Egypt. According to Dr. Neil Frankel, between 1525 and 1866, in the entire history of the slave trade to the New World, according to the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade Database, 12.5 million slaves were shipped to the New World. 10.7 million survived the dreaded Middle Passage, disembarking in North America, the Caribbean and South America. If you are a native of those who were labeled “black” living on or in one of these islands or continents, then you are likely of Hebrew heritage.
The Atlantic slave trade developed after Europeans began exploring and establishing trading posts on the Atlantic (west) coast of Africa in the mid-15th century. The first major group of European traders in West Africa was the Portuguese, followed by the British and the French. Why Do I Say “So-Called” Black? And More "Black" Thoughts

We should all know that “black” is not a sufficient identity for the Hebrew people. Black is neither a nationality nor ethnicity. It called a "race" but race is a social construct that adds little value to humankind. I often wonder if we got rid of race, would we get rid of racism? It's been done. Indian was successful in doing so. "Of color" is no better than "colored" in my opinion. I'm sure some people have said this to themselves in their state on perpetual confusion regarding this term.
African-American is an inaccurate identity because Africa is not the Hebrews place of origin. I have never cared for the term African-American, or any other hyphenated ethnic term. And here's why:
Before the term "African-American" became so popular, I was aware that Africans were complicit in the slave trade. If we ever were African, we ceased being so once they sold our ancestors into slavery. Many native Africans felt and continue to feel the same way. After having learned the truth about the Israelites, however, I wonder if this was the real reason Africans have long since opposed so-called black Americans who call themselves African and desire to “return to the motherland.”
Be that as it may, you must know that humankind as a whole originated from the continent of Africa. My opinion? North East Africa aka the Middle East. More on that later.
Another reason I don't care for “African-American” is because it creates separation. It's like the powers that be are trying to turn us into something “other than.”  It is to say that there is an ideal as to what constitutes an "American." The“American sweetheart” or an “All-American” family and these people are usually Caucasian. And then there's the one that's “other than” American the “African,” “Mexican,” “Japanese,” or "German” American (yes, Caucasians have ethnicities too). If you are American, you are American. Period. We create separation and statuses and wonder why we have so many problems with one another.

We have some so-called black people who think to be 'Pro-American" is to be "Anti-Hebrew (black)." My stance is this. This country belongs to the Hebrews just as much, if not more so, as it does anyone else. The blood, sweat, and tears of our ancestors went into making this country one of the greatest in the world and I'm going to claim it. That's why our ancestors fought in wars and competed in Olympic games. This is why Hebrews join the military and the police force. And listen, if you think you have to be "anti-police'" just because you are "black" then you are ignorant. Just think about what you are saying about yourself. Did you know that police killed twice as many Caucasians in 2015 than they did "blacks?" Look it up. And being anti-police is like being anti-dentist or anti-lawyer. Of course we have racists and corruption in every facet of society but that doesn't mean the whole system is corrupt although it might feel that way sometimes. If a doctor killed someone either by accident or on purpose, would you boycott all doctors? Would you refuse to got to the doctor if you needed surgery? Think about it. We need these services, it would be naive to think otherwise. And no, Hebrews did not achieve independence on July 4, 1776. But this day was a brick in the stone of the foundation that brought us from there to here. Celebrate it. Celebrate it because there are those who'd rather you didn't. I barbecue my turkey burgers in their face. Eat it.

Hebrews have a tendency to want segregate themselves; but if someone else were to do it, there would be all kinds of hell to pay. I understand that in many aspects the Hebrew people are often those who are under served and disadvantaged. However, we are no longer in a place where we have to “make do” because the proverbial “they” won't let us into something. Yet we continue to let people keep us at a distance and seem happy to let them. I will not make my own tennis club because someone doesn't want me to join because I am Hebrew. Like it or not, I'm coming in because I can. Then I will make my own tennis club that allows everyone to play. Don't get me wrong, unfortunately it is necessary for us to make opportunities for each other, I'm not saying that it isn't. What I'm saying is, Hebrews can head up something without segregating themselves and self-sabotaging their efforts. To me it seems counter-productive. We have to change the way we interact with one another too.
Hebrews are the harshest critics of other Hebrews almost always when unwarranted. Look up the comments about Gabby Douglas, Viola Davis' daughter or Ciara and Kelly's sons and their hairstyles. But if they would have straightened it, then they would have gotten accused of trying to be someone else. With Hebrews, you are damned if you do, damned if you don't. It needs to stop.
Yet when a Hebrew person tries to be realistic about our shortcomings, he or she is accused of "selling out." We don't want to look internally. I'd like to see this happen. If I have a "Vogue" type magazine, called, "Styled." In "Styled" there will be more pictures of Hebrews than anyone else. Someone who is probably not Hebrew will wonder why are there more Hebrews than anyone else in this magazine? My answer would be, why not? Next question.
If you are decidedly "Black Entertainment Television" then you are segregating yourself, your art, and your opportunity to say that "this" is just as good as "that." Everyone already knows it is so own it. Otherwise,"Forbes" will continue to be THE finance magazine and "Black Enterprise" will always be, that finance magazine for black people. I hope you get what I'm saying.

For some reason Hebrews always want to accuse other Hebrews of not wanting to be 'black,” as if that's a legitimate option. This whole argument is arbitrary. No matter what you do, you will be who you are. There are “black” people all over the world but few refer to themselves this way except for Americans. An educated person knows that countries are often comprised of all hues of people and one should not have to add a “color” when describing their birthplace. People typically identify themselves by their country. Think about how we address our state of birth. I do not have to say I am a "black" New Yorker. I say I am a New Yorker. Everyone knows that New York has all types of people, I'm one of those types. If you want to know more I would be glad to tell you my background.
And on the subject of backgrounds. Here again, Hebrews tend to get bent out of shape if some dares to mention they are of another ethnicity. Again, segregating ourselves by self-enforcing the "one drop rule." So they would rather a person like Halle Berry just completely forget that her mother exists. That would make them feel better right? It's ludicrous.
I'm not saying racism doesn't exist. It absolutely does. Racists are continuing their father's (the devil) work so they will always be around. What I'm saying is it can't stop you like it used to.
It might be harder, but it's not impossible. If we have learned nothing else from the Obamas, it's that.
Okay, I think I've gone on long enough. I may have to come back to this because I need to talk about where exactly the "black community" is, what it's comprised of,  and who gets to decide.

So Is Jesus Black?

 

 



There are so many things I can say about my Lord and Savior, Yeshua and I will as we progress. This post however is largely concerning His identity. We do not to pray to images of Yeshua the Messiah in any form like the Catholics (above) and similar religious denominations, this is blasphemous in the sight of our God.  I suppose this was not the intent of the artists who rendered the image of the Messiah either. I believe they were earnest in trying to leave a historical record of the greatest Figure that ever walked the face of the earth. This is about the historical Figure of Yahweh as He appeared on earth as His Son, Yeshua and will return in the same fashion. Yeshua walked the planet among people, He healed them, He ate with them, He listened to them, He talked to them. What this post is, is if I said to one of those people, "Tell me what He looks like" and they painted me a picture. 

 

Let me take a moment first to explain why I call Him Yeshua instead of Jesus. In actuality, His proper name is Yehoshua. Technically, none is more spiritual than the other, but I prefer to use His proper name because it is within my capacity to do so. I won't go into great detail about the transliteration of Yehoshua to Jesus but basically the process went like this:

Greek Yesous to English Jesus

 

(Yesous is where Kanye West continues his demonic, blasphemous gestures in naming himself something similar to Yeshua. Know this every time you support him in any way. I hate to even mention him here but I had to warn you.)

 

Yeshua the Messiah was born from the tribe of Judah, the root of David, and the root of Jesse. This is the same bloodline from which modern day "black" Americans have descended according to Biblical text. It stands to reason that if the Israelites are "black" then we can conclude that Yeshua is as well. So yep, Yeshua is black. But rather than saying Yeshua is black, I'd rather say that so-called blacks are Hebrew; like our Savior, Yeshua. European countries have always known that Yeshua is "black" and they obviously accept it (see pic above and look up Russian and Polish icons). Ironically, this is the same continent where the rouse of Yeshua being white with blonde hair and blue eyes began.

He was not of the Ashkenazi Jewish heritage, the modern people most consider the Jews of Israel; which they are not. In actuality, He was the first Christian. He did not have to convert; He was the conversion.

For the record, if you know anything about me, you know I have nothing against Europeans or their descendants. I have a great love for them as I do all hues of people. I must reiterate that this blog, my faith, this world...is not about black vs. white, it is all about the truth.

Biblical Evidence III

We know that the Israelites were cursed due to their disobedience. So how does this relate to so-called black people? I'm glad you asked.

The Isrealites made a covenant with Yahweh through Moses stating that they would obey His commandments. But they did not. Deuteronomy 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and do all his commandments which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee. The specific and very graphic  descriptions of slavery and other afflictions that would surely befall the descendants of Israel are outlined in "The Curses" of Deuteronomy 28. The “black” people of the world, especially those in America are the only group of people who live up to any of the curses found in this chapter. Moses and the other Israelites who were led out of Israel into Egypt were the same people who were sold into slavery and are today known as any variation of  “black.” Terms that we should learn to reject for the true moniker of Hebrew. In fact, you just need to look at a couple verses to see there is no other population of people in the world who have been shipped off and sold in a foreign country save for “black” people. This is undeniable. These scriptures are in your Bible the same as they are in mine. So you can look them up. However, in the interest of brevity, I will share just those that really stand out:

Deuteronomy 28:16 Cursed shalt though be in the city, and cursed shall though be in the field. 43 “The foreigners living among you will become stronger and stronger, while you become weaker and weaker. 44 They will lend money to you, but you will not lend to them. They will be the head, and you will be the tail!
This means that no matter where the Israelites went, whether it be the city or the country, they would  be lowest, or minorities if you will, living in the worst conditions. In most disadvantaged, low income, ghetto areas, the vast majority of the inhabitants are so-called black people. This is not to say that most so-called black people live in these areas. But of those who do, they make up the majority of the residents. People need to learn to make this distinction. We learned this in grade school.
I will throw in another example for clarity... “the majority of American basketball players are Hebrews, but the majority of Hebrews are not American basketball players.”
Got it Mr. Trump? But I digress, ok, let's move on.
So it can be said that Ashkenazi Jews live in squalor in some areas of the world and were the original inhabitants of most ghettos in America. However, studies show that presently they are a disproportionately wealthy group of people. On the other hand, there are extremely wealthy so-called black people. However, most of them are the exception rather than the norm. And Ashkenazi Jews do not fit the majority of even the recognizable curses. Let's narrow down more of the curses.

Deuteronomy 28:22 The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.
The so-called black slaves in the slave ships were mounted on top of each other like sardine fish in a can. Chained up in deplorable, inhumane conditions. They lived in their own filth. Scholars estimate that in these ships, temperatures reached in excess of 110 degrees Fahrenheit. This put them in an extremely disease filled environment.  So here is the inflammation and extreme burning. Also, the Conquistadors and other explorers brought over diseases like smallpox to the so called indigenous people of the Americas. This disease nearly wiped out the entire population. This is more inflammation and extreme burning. Also both these people were pursued and conquered with the swords and blasting. What is the “blasting?” I'm sure you can guess it was the guns, the advanced weaponry that the Europeans possessed. The indigenous people are known for describing these people as coming with the power of thunder. The Gatling Gun alone utterly destroyed the indigenous  people of North America. Still not convinced? Let's keep going.

Deuteronomy 28:30 Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.
This man would be promised a wife or be married, but another man would sleep with her. Hmm, were slaves allowed to have wives? Yes they were. Did the slave masters rape the slaves' wives? They definitely did. Was America built by slaves? For the most part yes, even Wall street with slave trade. George Washington himself had slaves and they built his house. Did they own it? Not even close. Slaves build plantations and worked on them but did they reap the benefits? No, not even a little bit. Who else can make this claim? Certainly not Ashkenazi Jews.

Deuteronomy 28:32 Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no might in thine hand.
The Israelites and their children would be sold to other people and they wouldn't be able to get them back. So called black and indigenous children were sold and exported  to every section of the globe. It's been said that Europeans often gave baby slaves to one another as Christmas gifts.

Deuteronomy 28:48 Therefore thou shalt serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put an yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he hath destroyed thee.
So the Israelites were to be put into slavery and would have iron yokes on their necks until they were destroyed. Well slaves were obviously put into slavery and would literally have iron yokes on their necks.

Deuteronomy 28:68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thous shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
Israel is adjacent to Egypt, you don't need a ship to go from one place to the other. You can walk there like the Hebrews did. When you read the bible Israel was enslaved by Egypt only one time. So what does Egypt mean? According to Exodus 20:2 Yahweh calls Egypt the "house of bondage" meaning slavery. So Israel would be taken into slavery again on ships. Here is the description of the transatlantic slave trade right there in the Bible.  There were even slaves shipped into Russia  and China. And “no man shall buy you” is explained by the Quakers and means “no one will save you.”

And I will give you more but because there are so many, I will just cut to the chase with the commentary:
25 “The Lord will cause you to be defeated by your enemies. You will attack your enemies from one direction, but you will scatter from them in seven! You will be an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth. 26 Your corpses will be food for all the scavenging birds and wild animals, and no one will be there to chase them away. (Recall those Hebrews who were lynched and left to rot in trees)
 29 You will grope around in broad daylight like a blind person groping in the darkness, but you will not find your way. You will be oppressed and robbed continually, and no one will come to save you. (Sound like the ghettos and projects?)
 33 A foreign nation you have never heard about will eat the crops you worked so hard to grow (Recall slaves plowing fields on the plantations). You will suffer under constant oppression and harsh treatment. 34 You will go mad because of all the tragedy you see around you.
37 You will become an object of horror, ridicule, and mockery among all the nations to which the Lord sends you. (Look up  any moment during the Jim Crow era especially the white racists posing with lynched Hebrews in trees)
49 “The Lord will bring a distant nation against you from the end of the earth, and it will swoop down on you like a vulture. It is a nation whose language you do not understand, 50 a fierce and heartless nation that shows no respect for the old and no pity for the young. (Look up Dorothy Counts and Ruby Nell Bridges Hall and how they were treated by white adults as school-aged children)
30“Their wealth will be plundered, their houses demolished. Though they build houses, they will not live in them; though they plant vineyards, they will not drink the wine."
 52 They will attack your cities until all the fortified walls in your land—the walls you trusted to protect you—are knocked down. They will attack all the towns in the land the Lord your God has given you. (Look up Greenwood in Tulsa, Oklahoma )
 61 The Lord will afflict you with every sickness and plague there is, even those not mentioned in this Book of Instruction, until you are destroyed. (Look up the stats on illnesses like: HIV, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol? I hope I don't have to use the basketball analogy again so people won't think all Hebrews are walking around disease ridden. But I will if I have to.)
There are more scriptures  outside of Deuteronomy that support the chapter 28 curses:
Isaiah 3:12
12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. (Who are the residents of the gang dominated neighborhoods? How old are most gang members? Who is the head of many of the Hebrew households?)
Isaiah 42:22
22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled (True Hebrew history was stolen and continues to be corrupted); they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses(Who is the largest percentage of the prison population?)
Isaiah 51:20
20 Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets (Of the young men who hang out on street corners, whose sons are they?), as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the Lord, the rebuke of thy God.

So all curses considered, Hebrews are the so-called black people still living under the curse. Obviously not all Hebrews perished during slavery, not all Hebrews perished during Jim Crow lynching and other violence, not all Hebrews are racially profiled or succumb to violence by other Hebrews. But the curse of racism and discrimination affects us collectively because when any of us are discriminated against, all of us are discriminated against. No racist is ever specific about his or her racism, they group us all together.

But know this, there were a remnant of our ancestors who obeyed and were spared by grace and thrive despite of the curses. And please read this very carefully, HEBREW PEOPLE ARE NOT FOREVER FATED WITH DOOM AND GLOOM despite what it says in Deuteronomy 28. This is why I said in the first post that Hebrews have to keep reading past this chapter.
Paul lays it out in Romans 11:3-10:
“I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: 3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”?4 And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6 And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace. 7 What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened, 8 as it is written:
“God gave them a spirit of stupor,
    eyes that could not see
    and ears that could not hear,
to this very day.”
9 And David says:
“May their table become a snare and a trap,
    a stumbling block and a retribution for them.
10 May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see,
    and their backs be bent forever.”

And Yahweh states in  Acts 7:2-7 But I will judge the nation that enslaves them,’ God said, ‘and afterwards they will leave and worship me in this place.’

The periods of bondage or slavery were a constant in the lives of the Hebrews. These unfortunate events can also lead us to the discovery that the Hebrews are the so-called black people of the world.
The scripture regarding this bondage include chapters and verses beyond Deuteronomy 28.

Genesis 15
13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
Many confuse this particular bondage with the one that occurred in Egypt. However in this instance, the Bible isn’t referring to Egypt. The Hebrews were only afflicted for a portion of their stay while in Egypt. Their bondage and oppression happens towards the end of their sojourn in Egypt which was roughly 215 odd years. The Hebrews were oppressed and enslaved for 215 years; for 430 years they sojourned in the land of Egypt:

Exodus 12
40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.Note the Bible says they sojourned for 430 years. So at least half of their time in Egypt, the Hebrews were pretty prosperous. It wasn’t until after the death of the Hebrew pharaoh, Joseph, that the Egyptians enslaved and oppressed the Hebrews:

Exodus 1
6 And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.
7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.
8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.
9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we:
10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.
11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.
In the New Testament, Paul validates that the 400 years of bondage and oppression in a foreign land and the 430 years sojourning in Egypt are two different events:

Acts 7
6 And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.
Again, this is different than the 430 years of sojourning in Egypt. After the 430 years, Moses brought out his people out of Egypt and gave them the commandments in the wilderness.

Galatians 3
17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
 Jeremiah 16 also very clearly underscores that the 400 years and 430 years prophecy are two different events:
Jeremiah 16
11 Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the Lord, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:
13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.
14 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be said, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
15 But, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.
In Jeremiah 16 it becomes clear that the Hebrews were scattered away from Israel once again. It also shows that in the land He has driven them to that there He “ will not show them any favor.” What does the lack of Yahweh's favor look like? It's laid out in Deuteronomy 28–30. Those passages are more than promises of what will happen when Jehovah turns away from His chosen people. It is also prophetic in the sense that it tells the world who the Hebrews were and how their descendants will know who they are because these signs will accompany them:

Deuteronomy 28
46 And they shall be among you as a sign and as a wonder and among your offspring forever.

So to summarize, the Hebrews sojourned in Egypt for 430 years and were oppressed and enslaved after the death of Joseph for 215 years. The vision given to Abraham in the Old Testament said that they would be afflicted for 400 years. What would be considered affliction? Slavery, oppression, racism, and discrimination would all fit the bill. Slavery in America alone lasted for 400 years, but the Bible states this affliction would pursue the Hebrews. Has racism and discrimination pursued the Hebrew people?  All of that I just described falls under affliction. So for arguments sake, I will state that it's fair to say the Ashkenazi Jews have experienced discrimination and oppression as well. However, this is pretty much where their similarity to authentic Hebrews ends. More on Deuteronomy 28 later. Until next time. Yahweh bless.

Are the Hebrew Israelites Specifically “Black" People? Biblical Evidence I

The Complexion Confusion
 

Why do we think that the tribe of Judah is comprised specifically of “black" people?

There are several reasons but let's start with the Bible as we always do.
Biblical scripture points to the conclusion that those specifically called "black" people around the world (which has been reported to include Latinos and Native Indians) descended from the ancient Hebrews; regardless of what religion they may be practicing today. There are also Hebrews who did not take the trek with Moses and the tribe of Judah, Benjamin, and a good portion of the tribe of Levi. Most died in the city through starvation; were killed by the Romans; sold to Egypt, or taken to Rome for various Roman ‘sporting activities’ after their conquest. Still others remained in Africa and their ancestors are a testament to this. Most notable are the Southern African tribe called the Lemba and the Ethiopian Jews. The Ethiopian Jews are said to be the descendants of Israel's son, Dan. Those Ethiopians Jews who returned to Israel on their own are facing their own brand of persecution in their original homeland. I have yet to investigate the whereabouts of the remaining tribes. There has been speculation but I have not seen much in the way of proof. So until I do, I will comment on what I do know. Now back to the complexion confusion. Dividing people into "black" and "white" is a modern phenomenon that didn't exist in the ancient world. No one saw Yeshua and the Hebrews as "black" people. They had more of a regional thing going on. I myself am not keen on separating people by skin tone but from a historical standpoint, it helps us get a better understanding of the inhabitants of a particular place. And in case you didn't know by now, humankind originated from the loins of so-called black people. So were are all some percentage of "black." Someone pass this along to Paula Deen and Hulk Hogan for starters. And you can see the ancient rendering of Adam and Eve in my video about the Old Testament. There's more, although science doesn't specifically mention Adam and Eve, it does state that this is fact. You can look it up.
Now, to the curses mentioned in Deuteronomy 28 in concert with other accounts mentioned in Biblical text further support this claim. And I will add that the “olive” skinned Egyptians with which are the modern majority did not exist in ancient Egypt;  they are a product of the Arab invasion that took place in 616 to 629 AD. 
Israelites were shipped all over the world as slaves as stated in Deuteronomy 28:64 For the Lord will scatter you among all the nations from one end of the earth to the other. Scriptural evidence suggests that the ancient Hebrews were darker skinned people. This is based on biblical accounts of the Hebrews and their marriage patterns and the multiple accounts of the inability of other people to discern between Hebrews and Egyptians. Egyptians are recorded as dark skinned people and Joseph, Paul, and Moses - all Hebrews - were mistaken for Egyptians in Biblical accounts: Moses' adoption by the Pharaoh's daughter in Exodus 2:

2 Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman, 2 and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. 3 But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. 4 His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him. 5 Then Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the riverbank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female slave to get it. 6 She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “This is one of the Hebrew babies,” she said. 7 Then his sister asked Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?” 8 “Yes, go,” she answered. So the girl went and got the baby’s mother.9 Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you.” So the woman took the baby and nursed him.10 When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, “I drew him out of the water.”

The Pharaoh's daughter knew Moses was Hebrew but no one else did. If he was a much lighter complexion like that of the Askahani Jews or olive-skinned, this would not have been the case.

When Yahweh tested Moses' courage in Exodus 4: 

6Then the Lord said, “Put your hand inside your cloak.” So Moses put his hand into his cloak, and when he took it out, the skin was leprous^a —it had become as white as snow. 7“Now put it back into your cloak,” he said. So Moses put his hand back into his cloak, and when he took it out, it was restored, like the rest of his flesh.

Some versions say, "it was restored like his former color."

 

I imagine that a fair-skinned person with a leprous outbreak and restoration wouldn't stand out as much. And here's an interesting tidbit, in the famous 1956 Charlton Heston version of the Ten Commandments, they left this verse out of the movie. Why leave out one of Yahweh's main encounters with Moses? Perhaps it was because it didn't fit the lie they were trying to sell.

When Paul asked the Greeks if he could speak with them in Acts 21:

37As they were about to take Paul into the barracks, he asked the commander, “May I say something to you?” “Do you speak Greek?” he replied. 38“ Aren’t you the Egyptian who incited a rebellion some time ago and led four thousand members of the ‘Assassins’’” into the wilderness? 39 But Paul answered, “I am a Jew from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no ordinary city. Now I beg you to allow me to speak to the people.”

In Genesis 42:3-8, it tells of how Joseph was unrecognizable among the Egyptians when his brothers came across him again: "And Joseph's ten brethren went down to buy corn in Egypt... And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him."

Some argue that these men had acclimated to the culture and the surroundings in which they found themselves in their manner of speech and dress. And for this reason, they may have been mistaken for Egyptians. But these scriptures combined with other circumstantial evidence supporting the real identity of the Hebrews makes this a moot point.

The Foundation of Yeshua's Lineage

The tribes of Israel, the Chosen People of God, the Israelites, the Hebrews (all one in the same) who preceded Yeshua and are the foundation of His lineage. Yahweh, through his servant Moses, clearly described Yeshua's genealogy which began with Noah and his three sons Shem, Ham and Japheth. Moses recorded the descendants of Ham and Japheth, but only for a few generations. His focus, however, was on Shem. Beginning with Genesis 11:10, Moses detailed the genealogical line of Shem. The Bible refers to Yeshua's descendants as "Hebrews." As we trace the family tree, we come to Terah, a Hebrew. He was the father of Abram who was later named Abraham by Yahweh (Genesis 17:5). Abraham was a Hebrew. In a nutshell, Abraham's story begins with the call of Yahweh. He migrates to Canaan, then to Egypt and finally to Canaan again. Then came the birth of his son Isaac. Isaac married, Rebekah, a woman from the Land of Eber and they gave birth to Jacob and Esau. To this point in history, all of the descendants in the genealogy are Hebrews. However with Jacob, a change took place when Yahweh gave him the name Israel (Genesis 32:28). Though Jacob was still a Hebrew, with his name change, he became the first Israelite. Jacob married two women who were both daughters of Laban who was also a Hebrew. Jacob had twelve sons who are identified as children of Israel and all were all obviously Hebrews. Another name for the Children of Israel is "Israelites," which obviously refers to the fact that they are descendants of Israel. The chart below details all of Israel's sons, the fathers of the tribes of Israel. Our Savior would later emerge from the tribe of Israel's son, Judah.

This Journey

Let me tell you more about myself. It was not my intention to write this blog or create my videos. I'm not a pastor or a preacher, I'm not trying to be. I'm a storyteller; I write scripts. I'm a singer; I create songs and music. I had not planned on doing any of this; and I am a planner. I went to college, I became a PhD in music. My train was chugging in another direction. So I hope you will forgive me if I don't come across as polished as I should. I just could not keep this to myself any longer. I felt a responsibility to share this message with all whom it concerns. If it doesn't concern you, I ain't really talking to you. I hope you detect the flavor with which the word "ain't" was intended.

I recall seeing a sermon with Priscilla Shirer and she talked about how Yahweh interrupted her plans of performing music. I felt the same way. I wanted to be a recording artist like Janet Jackson. The closer I got to fulfilling that dream the more it made my stomach churn. Prior to that I couldn't understand why I wasn't making headway. I mean not to toot my own horn but I am a great singer, I actually went on to sing backup for gospel singers for awhile. I had stage fright so I never liked performing alone. But I was offered contracts by managers and record labels. I turned them down because before I could pick up the contract to read it, they were already trying to figure out how they were going to change me. Yeah, that wasn't going to happen. That's now where I belonged. I knew that the art I was going to create, I had to do it myself so I started on that path.

I am a Christian and have been all my life. I was taught the Word by my mother. It was one of the best things she ever gave me. When I was an adult however, I took off the training wheels.
I was in a situation, financial, and I was in a bind. I was working for a small company that laid me off. I was not eligible for unemployment, I had no benefits and not much saved because I wasn't making much. The people would help me couldn't and the people who likely could have help me wouldn't. So I spoke to Yahweh, and said something similar to, "God, You said you would provide me with what I need. I need You to help me, I don't have anyone else but You." It was about a week later I got a new job.

I'll share one more, during this low paying job era, I didn't have a car. A family member had just gotten a car, a BMW and a young relative of mine, he was 6 years old, asked me when was I going to get a car. I didn't know what to tell him. So I said, "Will you pray that God will give me a car?" and he did, the cutest prayer ever. But I was nervous, I thought I can't afford a car, I wasn't even really trying to look for one. I was so afraid that if it didn't happen, it would affect his faith. Honestly though, I didn't think his prayers would be answered. I stepped out in faith anyway and to my surprise, I got approved for a car one that I had been eyeing. This person would park at work everyday and I would check out their car while passing by on the train to Manhattan. The year was 2004, my car was a 2003 Mercedes Benz C-Class. I got it for 19k and was the second owner. It had about 20,000 miles on it. I couldn't believe they had given it to me, I didn't have any paperwork from that job I was working, I didn't put any money down because I didn't have any. I kept looking back while driving off the lot to see if anyone would be chasing me down to tell me they'd made a mistake. That didn't happen. After thanking Yahweh, I went to that relative and told him that it was his prayers that made it all possible. And I really believe that. I'm still driving that car and I haven't had many problems with it at all. I have had trials and challenges for sure, but all told, it has been nothing but a blessing to me. I could go on but I would be here all day.

So suffice it to say, my God has been so good to me in so many ways. I will admit when it comes to this Christian life, I get frustrated with Christians all the time. Far too many of them say one thing and do another. This is why I get frustrated with religious leaders too. Yeshua condemned them constantly in the New Testament. I'm thankful that I have always been inquisitive and a researcher. You can't just tell me anything and I go for it. This is how Jonestown happened. The Bible tells us to "test the spirits" anyway and you really should.

Not too long ago, I came across an article in the former "Essence" magazine. I know it's still around, I just don't like what it's become. Anyway, this article was called, "Single, Sexy, and Saved," which I am, so I thought I would check it out. In a nutshell, I found out that the idea of not having sex until you are married is not in the Bible. I was like whaaa? So like I said earlier, I looked into it. I found that, not surprisingly, many people have asked this question and the answer was always some version of, "Well, the Bible doesn't say that exactly but if you look at this scripture it says..." None of those scriptures were even remotely close to the idea that one must save themselves for marriage. The closest I discovered was Paul saying that if you "can't control yourself," then you'd better get married. "Control" is very different from "abstinence." And look, like I said, I'm not a preacher, I'm not trying to sell you on anything. If you are challenged by anything I say, I implore you to do your own research. Do it whether you are challenged or not. I don't want to be responsible for you missing the mark, but more than that I want you to be confident in your beliefs. To many Christians are not. But in regards to marriage, of course the Bible speaks about what a wonderful institution it can be. It talks about how it's a blessing to find a spouse because "two is better than one" and I believe this whole-heartedly. What I don't like is someone handing me something because they think it sounds good. I believe in boundaries and not making a whore out of yourself no matter what pop culture tries to sell you. Sex in and of itself however, is a natural impulse, but I won't go there just yet. I hate to keep saying this but I will delve more into the "sex and fornication" topic later. So much to say!

But I digress. When I started out on this particular journey to truth, it was to find out all of the names of Yahweh so that my prayers would be more effective. I didn't expect to uncover a revelation that would change everything I thought I knew about myself. How could that be? Well, that's exactly what happened as I described in the first post. The next post will start to get into this revelation.

Do you know the truth about THE REAL BIBLICAL ISRAELITES and THE TRUE LINEAGE OF JESUS CHRIST?

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:9

Not too long ago, I was talking to a friend from Columbia. We were talking about religion and the way Jesus has been depicted. He said he knew Jesus didn't look like the "super model" they cast in, "The Bible," TV series. I replied "Yeah, I know He was darker than they make Him out to be." At that time, I was picturing Him more like what we believe people from that region look like. Weeks after that, I was looking at a Bible over the shoulder of a person at my church. She was looking at the pictures in this Bible that stated it was for, “Children of Color.” We will talk more about the “of color” moniker later. But these pictures portrayed  all of the Biblical figures as “black.” We will get more into the term "black" later too. In my ignorance I thought, “They shouldn't make these figures black to cater to a certain demographic, if these people were “Middle Eastern,” they were “Middle Eastern” (we will get into the “Middle Eastern” topic later as well). Well, Yahweh heard me; as always. Shortly after that Sunday (Sunday has it's own history, that too will be addressed in the posts to come), maybe a week later, Yahweh revealed the truth to me. And my world has been changed forever. I was not searching for this truth, I was searching for a different truth entirely. In fact I had the video related to this very topic in my Youtube “Watch Later” list for some time. I did not know what the video would reveal. I just “happened” to watch it after that Sunday not knowing what to expect.

And let me tell you, I've learned so much and I will share it with you. In a nutshell, here's what I know now...we have all been deceived.

I am a follower of Yeshua the Messiah, the Son of Yahweh the Father, and the Holy Bible in its entirety.
